TELCOR Acquires Sample Healthcare to Accelerate AI-Powered Revenue Cycle Execution

Share

TELCOR Inc has announced that it took over Sample Healthcare, which is a great step to changing healthcare organizations in such a way as to totally change how revenue cycle management operations are carried out.

This takeover not only means that healthcare providers will continue to benefit from TELCOR’s legacy revenue cycle management platform but also, they will now be able to automate and carry out essential processes such as prior authorizations appeals payer follow-ups, and handling of documents through Sample Healthcare’s AI-powered workflow engine.

Moving Beyond Traditional RCM Systems

Unlike conventional platforms that rely heavily on rules-based automation and analytics, the combined solution emphasizes direct execution of revenue cycle workflows. This enables organizations to reduce reliance on manual processes that often involve navigating documents, payer portals, and phone-based interactions.

Sample Healthcare will continue to operate as a standalone platform, offering flexibility for organizations to deploy its capabilities within existing systems or as part of TELCOR’s broader ecosystem.

Addressing Industry Challenges with AI Execution

Healthcare professionals and labs are experiencing intense stress due to growing administrative expenses, lack of sufficient workforce, and the increasing complexities in reimbursements. A large portion of the revenue cycle operations are still disjointed and heavily reliant on human labor, which is one of the main reasons for delays, denials, and inefficiencies.

TELCOR, the company known for enhancing collections through automation, is now taking a big step in broadening its functionalities with the integration of AI-driven execution. The company is actively deploying these AI workflows within its own revenue cycle service operations, using real-world use cases to validate performance and accelerate adoption.

“The revenue cycle still depends on people moving between documents, payer portals, and phone calls,” said Chris Terrano, President of RCM at TELCOR. “That model does not scale. TELCOR executes that work with AI, shifting revenue cycle operations from manual processes to automated execution.”

“We founded Sample with a simple belief: administrative headache shouldn’t be the bottleneck to accessing care, and AI gives us the tools to make that a reality,” said Ankit Ranjan, CEO and cofounder at Sample Healthcare. “Partnering with TELCOR gives us the reach to put that technology in front of the thousands of labs and providers who need it most.”

Delivering Measurable Outcomes with AI Workflows

Sample Healthcare’s platform uses AI to understand unstructured data and carry out complex multi-step workflows. Generally, the organizations implementing the solution can have it deployed within weeks, often beginning with specific use cases and then expanding as measurable ROI is reached.

Some of the early benefits demonstrated are better success rates for authorization, shorter reimbursement cycles, and higher operational throughput no need to hire more staff.
Building an Integrated, AI-Enabled RCM Platform

As part of the acquisition, the Sample Healthcare leadership team will continue to play key roles within TELCOR, ensuring continuity for customers while enhancing innovation and support capabilities.

The combined platform enables healthcare organizations to streamline high-impact revenue cycle workflows, reduce administrative burden, and improve financial performance through increased speed, accuracy, and efficiency.

With this move, TELCOR strengthens its position in the healthcare technology market, advancing toward a future where revenue cycle operations are not just managed, but intelligently executed through AI.
