Veradigm, a company that gives healthcare technology and revenue cycle management solutions, has unveiled the early adopter release of Veradigm Health Network Architecture, a new platform that aims to offer independent healthcare practices real-time insights into their clinical, financial, and operational performance.
This new platform plans to eliminate the technology disparity that has existed for a long time between independents and big health systems by linking data across electronic health records (EHR), practice management systems clearinghouses patient engagement tools, and revenue cycle applications into one unified ecosystem.
In the past, numerous independent practices heavily depended on fragmented healthcare systems and delayed reporting due to which they often ended up with outdated insights, lost reimbursement opportunities, unaddressed care gaps, and inefficient billing.
Veradigm Health Network Architecture aims to open up possibilities by making real-time data synchronization a matter of course in existing healthcare workflows.

Independent healthcare organizations are known to work with a collection of more than 15 disconnected software applications, which make their administrative teams heavily rely on manual data exchanges between these systems. On many occasions, the time lag in reporting results in the detection of financial problems, payer denials, or care quality lapses only after several weeks.
“For years, healthcare technology added a new tool for every new requirement, but never a way to make them work together,” said Tehsin Syed, Chief Product and Technology Officer of Veradigm. “Veradigm Health Network Architecture changes that. It turns disconnected systems into one coordinated platform where information is usable the moment it’s created.”
Real-Time Intelligence Across Clinical and Financial Workflows
The new architecture introduces several capabilities designed to improve operational efficiency and accelerate decision-making for healthcare providers.
Key features include:
- Real-time updates to quality measures and care gaps during patient visits
- Automated prior authorization workflows with integrated clinical context
- Early detection of claim denial trends after only a small number of submissions
- Enterprise-level analytics capabilities for independent practices without additional staffing requirements
By enabling providers to identify care gaps and billing issues while physicians are actively documenting patient encounters, the platform helps practices respond faster and reduce administrative inefficiencies.
Unified Connectivity Across Healthcare Ecosystems
Veradigm Health Network Architecture is powered through integrations across Veradigm’s EHR, practice management, clearinghouse, and patient engagement platforms, including FollowMyHealth.
The platform also leverages standards-based FHIR APIs to simplify interoperability with accountable care organizations (ACOs), payer programs, public health registries, and external healthcare systems. According to Veradigm, integrations that traditionally required months of custom development can now be completed in a matter of days.
Expanding Benefits for Payers and Life Sciences Organizations
Beyond provider organizations, the platform is expected to deliver operational advantages for payers and life sciences companies.
On one hand, healthcare payers may benefit from these new capabilities through real-time care gap closure and expeditious chart retrieval processes that may help enhance risk adjustment accuracy while reducing outreach costs. But, life sciences companies can gain access to real-world clinical workflow data, therapy switch indicators, and patient-reported outcomes from consented connections within FollowMyHealth.
Besides, it will also be the first layer of infrastructure for future AI-driven healthcare workflows such as intelligent claim scrubbing, AI-assisted prior authorization, coding support, and clinical trial patient matching capabilities which are scheduled to be released throughout 2026.
Veradigm has shared that Health Network Architecture is presently accessible to early adopter customers utilizing Veradigm EHR, Veradigm Practice Management, Veradigm Payerpath, and FollowMyHealth solutions, while a wider general availability is anticipated in the next few weeks.
