Datadog has acquired Eppo, a leading feature flagging and experimentation platform, to bolster its AI and product analytics capabilities. This strategic acquisition enables Datadog to offer a comprehensive, unified platform that integrates observability with experimentation and feature management, empowering developers, data scientists, and product managers to collaboratively design, test, and measure the impact of new features in real time. As AI workloads become increasingly complex, Eppo’s advanced experimentation tools facilitate the safe and efficient rollout of changes, allowing teams to assess user engagement, model performance, and cost trade-offs simultaneously.
