Elavon, a U.S. Bank subsidiary and global payment processor, has partnered with Microsoft. They launched Elavon Live Payments, a new payments app available on the Microsoft Marketplace for Microsoft 365 users. This app uses the Elavon Payments Gateway (EPG). It helps consultants, freelancers, and lawyers create invoices, process payments, and manage transactions securely. Best of all, they can do this right within Microsoft Outlook and Teams.

“Elavon Live Payments solves this challenge by eliminating traditional payment collection barriers allowing business owners to integrate payment workflows directly into commonly used Microsoft 365 applications like Outlook or Teams in real time, which can reduce Days Sales Outstanding and foster business growth,” said Pari Sawant, Global Chief Product Officer at Elavon. The integration enhances cash flow, reduces administrative friction, and supports real-time payment tracking, while Microsoft emphasizes that embedding the solution into familiar 365 apps streamlines productivity and simplifies financial workflows for service-based businesses worldwide.
