Share

Horizon has completed the acquisition of Anfield Capital Management, an Irvine, California-based asset management firm specializing in fixed income investing, strengthening its investment capabilities and expanding its advisor-focused offerings. Under the agreement, Anfield’s team, along with its portfolio of mutual funds, ETFs, and outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) practice, will operate under the Horizon brand. The acquisition enhances Horizon’s ability to support registered investment advisors (RIAs), broker-dealers, and financial institutions with customized fixed income strategies and institutional investment solutions amid increasingly complex market conditions. It also marks Horizon’s second strategic acquisition in just over a year, following the integration of Centre Asset Management in 2025, while complementing the firm’s recently launched active ETF suite, which has grown to more than $2.4 billion in assets under management.

David Young, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Anfield Capital Management, added, “This is an exciting milestone for our team, and we look forward to engaging with more financial advisors about today’s income-focused challenges and opportunities. Joining Horizon is a strong fit for us, and we are eager to begin this new chapter as part of the Horizon team.” Together, the combined organization aims to provide advisors with broader investment resources and specialized expertise to better serve clients and navigate evolving market opportunities.
