Formerly called DebtBook, and with a team of former municipal bankers, Monetary has built Monetary Markets, an AI-native capital markets platform for investment banks, commercial banks, and municipal advisors serving government. The platform combines market data from public sources, client data, proprietary firm data, automated refunding analysis, and debt structure tools in a single, connected workflow. Its “AI analyst, ” Marty, helps financiers find refunding opportunities, compare municipal securities price structure debt, and prepare pitch decks for clients.

By connecting market data with issuer relationships, debt schedules, offering documents, and the internal knowledge within a firm, the platform aims to reduce manual effort and uncover opportunities across client portfolios. Users may ask questions in natural language about callable bonds, refunding savings, and municipal finance concepts, with the answers linked to original source data. Financial professionals retain control by reviewing and approving the resulting analysis and materials. The platform builds on Monetary’s existing treasury management system, which unifies debt, cash, and investments for government. “This is our vision for what this work becomes,” said Tyler Traudt, Chief Executive Officer of Monetary. “An AI platform that enables every part of the job and connects those parts closely to each other. We are announcing the platform today, and we are actively collaborating with partners and customers to build the future of how banks and advisors serve the public sector.”
