Financial services provider Northern Trust has expanded its long-standing relationship with global asset manager First Sentier Group after being appointed as fund administrator and depositary for the $14 billion First Sentier Investors Global Umbrella Fund Plc. Under the expanded agreement, Northern Trust will deliver a comprehensive suite of asset servicing solutionsincluding custody, depositary, fund accounting, and transfer agency services for First Sentier Group’s Irish fund structure. Building on a global relationship established in 2006, the mandate supports First Sentier Group’s broader operational strategy to align its operating model across key asset structures and jurisdictions to drive consistency, scalability, and resilience while maintaining regional regulatory flexibility.
