Up Keep, the flagship asset operations platform used by more than 400,000 users across 60 countries, has secured a strategic growth investment from software-focused investment firm, Accel-KKR (AKKR). The investment will enable Up Keep to grow its platform further and accelerate the company’s AI-native approach to asset operations including maintenance, safety and workforce learning. Originally launched as a CMMS and maintenance platform, UpKeep has broadened its capabilities with products including UpKeep Safety for health and safety workflows, UpKeep Learn for frontline workforce training, UpKeep Studio for custom operational app development, and Supernova, an AI-powered platform that provides managers with intelligent agents capable of handling routine operational tasks with approval-based automation.

“Partnering with Accel-KKR is a natural next step in our growth journey,” said Ryan Chan, Founder and CEO of UpKeep. “We started UpKeep to give the people who keep the physical world running software as capable as the tools they use everywhere else in their lives. The platform we are building now stretches that mission across maintenance, safety, and learning, with AI woven through every layer.” Dean Jacobson, Managing Director at Accel-KKR, described UpKeep as “a category leader with a clear vision, a strong product, and a deeply loyal customer base,” adding that AI is expected to significantly reshape how organizations manage physical operations.
