Waystar has expanded its collaboration with Google Cloud to enhance its agentic AI capabilities and accelerate the move toward an autonomous revenue cycle for healthcare providers. Through Waystar AltitudeAI, the platform combines proprietary financial and clinical data with generative and agentic AI embedded directly into revenue cycle workflows, enabling self-learning automation across prior authorizations, patient coverage identification, and denial prevention. The partnership leverages Google Cloud’s Gemini large language models and hyperscale infrastructure to deploy advanced automation across complex workflows and unlock new use cases.

“Waystar’s AI advantage comes from our unique position within healthcare’s payment ecosystem, where we capture critical financial, clinical, and administrative intelligence across more than one million providers,” said Matt Hawkins, CEO of Waystar. Already, Waystar AltitudeAI has prevented over $15 billion in denied claims and reduced 90% of denial appeal time. “The true potential of AI in healthcare isn’t just in analyzing data, but in its ability to take precise, automated action,” said Aashima Gupta, Google Cloud. This collaboration positions Waystar to deliver the first fully autonomous, outcome-driven revenue cycle.
