Ensemble, a leader in revenue cycle management (RCM), has teamed up with enterprise AI firm Cohere to launch a first-of-its-kind agentic AI platform built specifically for healthcare. Leveraging Cohere North—Cohere’s secure, enterprise-grade infrastructure—the platform integrates deeply into Ensemble’s operations, enabling intelligent agents to act, learn, and adapt in real time across the entire revenue cycle.
Rather than automating isolated tasks, Ensemble is embedding AI agents horizontally across front-end to back-end processes such as authorization, collections, and denials. These agents are trained on a decade of Ensemble’s high-performance data and operate under a human-in-the-loop safety model. Early deployments show that agents can manage 40% of accounts receivable follow-ups and are being piloted for tasks like coding and denial prevention.

“We’re integrating agentic orchestration into our end-to-end RCM model to ensure every action taken across the revenue cycle by our operators or agents reflects our proven best practices and highest performance standards,” said Judson Ivy, Founder and CEO of Ensemble.
The platform also enhances patient engagement and staff efficiency, contributing to faster appeals, better denial outcomes, and improved patient satisfaction. By ensuring HIPAA-compliant integration with EHR systems, Ensemble and Cohere aim to set a new standard for secure, AI-driven healthcare administration.
“By working together, we’re setting a new standard for tackling some of healthcare’s toughest administrative challenges,” added Ivan Zhang, Co-Founder of Cohere.
