Confluence Technologies Names Spiros Giannaros Chief Executive Officer

Confluence Technologies, Inc., a global provider of enterprise data, software, and AI-driven solutions for the investment management industry, has appointed Spiros Giannaros as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Founder and longtime CEO Mark Evans will transition into the role of Executive Chairman, where he will continue guiding strategy and growth initiatives. Confluence is backed by private equity firm Clearlake Capital Group, L.P.

Giannaros, a veteran of the FinTech and software sectors, brings more than 25 years of leadership experience. He previously served as Executive Vice President at State Street Corporation, most recently as CEO of Charles River Development and head of the State Street Alpha Platform. His career also includes senior roles at IHS Markit, where he led Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and thinkFolio, as well as a 15-year tenure at Charles River Development across sales, account management, and product marketing.

Clearlake partners James Pade and Sean Courtney praised the appointment, noting: “Spiros has a track record of driving growth, product innovation, and client success at scale. We believe his deep FinTech expertise will accelerate Confluence’s momentum in AI-driven solutions to meet the growing reporting demands for the investment management industry.”
