Regnology to Acquire Wolters Kluwer FRR Unit, Expanding Global Regulatory Tech Footprint

Regnology has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Wolters Kluwer’s Finance, Risk & Regulatory Reporting (FRR) business, a move that significantly broadens its regulatory intelligence capabilities and global market presence. The acquisition will integrate FRR’s deep domain expertise with Regnology’s cloud-first architecture to provide financial institutions with a unified platform for modernized regulatory reporting and compliance across jurisdictions. “FRR brings additional expertise and reach that will enhance our ability to serve clients globally,” said Rob Mackay, CEO of Regnology.

Fredrik Näslund, Partner at Nordic Capital Advisors, highlighted the transaction as a marker of Regnology’s ongoing innovation and value delivery to financial institutions. The acquisition is expected to close in the coming months, pending regulatory and customary approvals.
