Embedded payments infrastructure leader NMI® has officially introduced its new embeddable component suite, featuring a modular set of low-code, drop-in user interface (UI) components. The software deployment is engineered to help independent software vendors (ISVs) and SaaS platforms integrate end-to-end payment workflows directly into their digital applications.
The product starts with four main components: a module for processing payments, one to keep track of transaction history, and one for deposit reporting. SaaS companies will have no trouble integrating a payment system in their brand that works smoothly from the front-end if they build upon these functionalities. In this way, they will be able to provide their clients a fully branded seamless experience, a payment ecosystem from start to finish – so no money is lost in backends that need paying, or the users are taken to different payment gateways through.
Accelerating Payment Monetization with Flexible Integration Architecture
Integrating payments into enterprise software often forces development teams to choose between losing brand control with hosted third-party checkouts or spending months building custom payment infrastructure via raw APIs. NMI’s embeddable suite bridges this gap by combining pre-built front-end components with deep back-end customization.

Hosted within NMI’s upgraded integration portal, the suite functions alongside a versatile integration framework. Development teams can choose from no-code hosted interfaces, low-code UI components, or full API orchestration based on their technical roadmap.
Key technical and operational highlights of the release include:
Modular UI Components: Drop-in interfaces for checkout, detailed transaction logs, and payout/deposit tracking that match the host software’s visual identity.
Developer Portal & AI Integration: Provides comprehensive documentation, guided configuration workflows, interactive pricing calculators, and a free testing sandbox. The portal also features an AI-ready README file structured to allow autonomous AI agents to parse and execute NMI integration code seamlessly.
Native Deposit & Transaction Visibility: Enables end users to monitor transaction statuses, processing timelines, and payout schedules directly within the native application, drastically reducing customer support tickets related to billing.
Full Compliance and Risk Offloading: NMI manages all underlying operational complexities, including merchant underwriting, PCI-DSS compliance, risk management, fraud prevention, and transaction routing.
“Software platforms want to offer payments as part of their own product experience, but many do not have the time, resources or payments expertise to build everything themselves. Our embeddable component suite gives them a faster way to launch, maintain brand control and create a clear path to payment revenue,” said Luis Alfredo Peña Pérez, Director, Product Management at NMI.
Scalable Architecture for Growing Software Platforms
NMI’s Component Studio allows developers to customize visual elements, configure brand themes, and test payment flows in a risk-free sandbox environment prior to live deployment.
The modular architecture allows software providers to scale their payment capabilities over time. Platforms can launch initially with a single component, such as embedded checkout, and progressively expand into embedded deposit reporting or full API-driven customization as platform transaction volume grows.
By embedding native payments via NMI, software platforms can unlock recurring fintech revenue streams, elevate customer retention, and streamline user onboarding without taking on payment processing liability.
