Intuit Unveils AI Agents to Help Businesses Save Time, Boost Cash Flow, and Scale Smarter

Share

Intuit Inc., the company behind TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, has launched a pioneering suite of AI-powered virtual agents aimed at transforming the way businesses manage daily operations and achieve growth. The new Intuit AI agents, built into the QuickBooks platform, function as an always-on virtual team that automates tasks across accounting, finance, payments, and customer relationship management – freeing up valuable time for business owners to focus on growth.

These intelligent agents handle routine workflows – such as managing leads, tracking invoices, categorizing transactions, and providing real-time financial insights – while ensuring the customer stays in control. Intuit says the new capabilities can save businesses up to 12 hours per month and provide a comprehensive view of performance across apps. In fact, 78% of customers report that Intuit’s AI makes running their business easier, with 68% saying it lets them spend more time growing it.

“Intuit’s AI-driven expert platform is transforming how businesses run and grow with first-of-its-kind agentic AI experiences,” said Sasan Goodarzi, Intuit CEO. “When our vast amounts of data and AI capabilities are combined with the power of trusted human experts, Intuit’s uniquely designed, integrated platform unlocks next-level efficiencies, profitability, and growth for businesses.”

QuickBooks’ redesigned web experience complements the AI agents with an upgraded homepage featuring customizable widgets and a dynamic business feed that delivers actionable recommendations and progress summaries. A new mobile app interface extends these AI-powered capabilities to users on the go.

The new line-up includes specialized agents like the Payments Agent, which helps companies get paid an average of five days faster by predicting late payments and automating reminders. The Accounting Agent streamlines bookkeeping and reconciliation for more accurate books, while the Finance Agent delivers in-depth reporting, KPI tracking, and scenario planning to guide strategic decisions.

“I need more time to be able to invest back into my business,” said Kurtis Graham, founder of COSIGN Enterprises, LLC. “Intuit’s AI can help me save several hours a month and drive revenue for my business. That’s a win-win for my business.”

To further support customer relationships, the new Customer Hub provides dedicated virtual agents that automate CRM tasks, sourcing leads, drafting emails, and tracking opportunities to help businesses nurture stronger client connections. A Marketing Agent, launching later this year, will use Mailchimp to automate audience targeting and campaign execution.

Looking ahead, Intuit plans to expand its AI offerings for larger businesses with agents for payroll and project management, tackling more complex operations to drive efficiency at scale.

With over four decades of innovation, Intuit’s latest AI-driven tools combine artificial intelligence with the expertise of trusted human advisors – helping entrepreneurs and accountants alike save time, make smarter decisions, and unlock growth opportunities in an increasingly competitive market.
