Kepler Communications, a leader in real-time space data connectivity, has named Beau Jarvis as its new chief revenue officer. In this role, Jarvis will spearhead Kepler’s global commercial strategy, advancing adoption of its next-generation optical data relay network across government, commercial, and international markets.

Kepler is building an on-orbit optical relay system that enables high-throughput, real-time communications between satellites, space-based assets, and ground networks. Using advanced optical inter-satellite links, on-orbit processing, and a distributed mesh architecture, the Kepler Network delivers sub-second latency and gigabit-class throughput—addressing one of the space industry’s most pressing challenges: moving data in orbit with the same efficiency as the terrestrial Internet.

“Beau brings a rare combination of deep industry knowledge, entrepreneurial instinct, and proven revenue leadership,” said Mina Mitry, CEO of Kepler. “He has built go-to-market strategies from the ground up and knows what it takes to turn breakthrough technologies into successful businesses. His experience will be instrumental as we scale our commercial footprint and bring Kepler’s optical relay capabilities to customers operating in space.”

Jarvis brings over two decades of leadership in the commercial space and Earth observation sectors, having consistently driven early-stage revenue and secured major investment for high-growth ventures. He emphasized the transformative potential of Kepler’s mission: “The space economy is entering a new era, and Kepler is uniquely positioned to unlock its next frontier with a real-time communications backbone built for dynamic, on-orbit operations. Enabling real-time data streaming across space doesn’t just improve connectivity—it accelerates the growth of entire sectors like Earth observation, human spaceflight, and scientific exploration.”

Jarvis previously held senior leadership roles at Planet Labs, HawkEye 360, and most recently Phase Four, where he served as CEO, guiding the company through multiple funding rounds and successful product deployments.
