FPT and UOB Forge Strategic Alliance to Advance AI-Powered Banking Transformation

FPT, a global technology business headquartered in Vietnam, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UOB Group, a banking group based in Singapore to exploring opportunities for strategic collaboration on AI (artificial intelligence), digital transformation and financial services innovation throughout Asia-Pacific. Under this partnership, FPT and UOB will co-discover initiatives in the field of AI-driven banking innovation, digital banking transformation, fintech development, ecosystem building. The partnership will help foster banking modernization practices using state of the art technologiesAI, data analytics, intelligent automation, cloud computing APIs modern digital architectures.

Also, the initiative is predicted to helps the development of a forum for organizations and their ecosystem partners to convert innovation priorities into viable commercial ventures. Topics like digital banking platforms, legacy systems modernization, payment system, digital lending, embedded finance and pilot projects in Vietnam and other important geographical markets are involved.

Additionally, the collaboration seeks to strengthen cross-border financial services, support enterprise expansion, and foster more connected and innovation-driven financial ecosystems across the region. The two organizations plan to finalize implementation details, governance frameworks, pilot scopes, and expected outcomes within the next 90 days.
