Treasury4, a provider of enterprise treasury management software designed for modern finance teams, has announced a new client partnership with Ultimus Private Fund Solutions (Ultimus®), a leading fund administration firm serving private equity, hedge funds, and other alternative investment managers.
The partnership is expected to allow Ultimus to enhance its treasury operations mainly via the centralization of payment processing and workflow approvals and at the same time get a better real-time view of the different capital calls, funding activities, and cash movements across the complex fund structures.
Frequent management of several private funds usually involves monitoring various bank accounts at multiple financial institutions, and that can bring operational difficulties when it comes to payment execution, funding validation, and cash visibility. With the introduction of Treasury4’s platform, Ultimus intends to get rid of such issues by consolidating them in one central treasury system that will give them higher degree of control over fund-level financial operations.
Treasury4’s platform is built on an API-first architectural foundation with direct integration into banking operations to provide nearly real-time banking statements, transaction watching, and payment status notifications. Through that, Ultimus will be able to obtain much more information more quickly on investor funding inflows, capital call collections in outstanding balances and overall cash position at the entity level across several entities.

The enhanced visibility supports more informed decision-making while enabling internal teams and clients to access timely funding information throughout the capital call lifecycle. By consolidating treasury data, payment workflows, and banking activity into a centralized platform, Treasury4 also helps standardize operational processes, strengthen internal controls, and improve oversight before downstream transactions are initiated.
“Fund payment execution becomes increasingly complex as firms scale, especially when visibility into funding status is spread across systems and spreadsheets,” said Steve Helmbrecht, Chief Executive Officer at Treasury4. “Treasury4 is built to scale and support high-entity, high-volume environments, helping Ultimus streamline payment workflows while improving oversight into capital call activity and approvals across funds.”
The partnership also supports Ultimus’ broader objective of enhancing operational efficiency while delivering greater transparency to clients managing sophisticated alternative investment portfolios.
“Partnering with Treasury4 enables us to transform payment operations, improve efficiency, and provide greater transparency for our clients,” said Jay Martin, President at Ultimus Private Fund Solutions. “The platform offers scalability and enhanced tools that allows us to deliver a seamless, more effective experience for our clients.”
