Private capital technology provider Allvue Systems, LLC (“Allvue”) has announced the launch of GP Accounting, an integrated solution designed to manage fund and General Partner (GP) entity economics within a unified platform.
Functioning as the latest expansion of Allvue’s Intelligent Financial Operations framework, GP Accounting natively connects the company’s Fund Accounting software with its Firm View Carry and Compensation Management system. The release provides structured tracking for partner capital balances, carried interest allocations, incentive compensation, and GP-level financial reporting, resolving a long-standing operational disconnect across the private markets sector.
Unifying Fund Operations with GP Entity Economics
Historically, private capital firms have invested heavily in institutionalizing fund-level accounting. However, internal GP-level financial operations such as tracking partner equity, managing carry allocations, and modeling incentive payouts have largely remained fragmented, often relying on offline shadow spreadsheets and manual reconciliations.
GP Accounting bridges this gap by introducing a synced, two-way workflow between Allvue’s FirmView and Fund Accounting platforms. Under this connected architecture, updates made to investor allocations or ownership structures refresh automatically across both environments, giving chief financial officers and operational teams a single, auditable source of truth.

The product launch directly addresses widespread operational challenges highlighted in Allvue’s 2026 Compensation & Carry Management Survey, which revealed that only 11% of alternative investment firms consider their carry administration ahead of industry peers. The study also noted that expanding carry participation (49%) and forecasting payout outcomes (42%) represent the primary operational hurdles facing fund managers over the coming years.
Core Solution Capabilities
The GP Accounting solution delivers specialized features divided across fund management and compensation workflows:
-
Carried Interest Allocation Tracking: Monitors and distributes carried interest through automated, system-driven workflows, eliminating manual spreadsheet dependency and reducing reconciliation timelines.
-
Incentive Plan Modeling & Reporting: Models incentive compensation packages using live financial results, allowing human resources and finance teams to align talent retention strategies with actual GP performance.
-
Complex Tax Allocation Support: Simplifies multi-entity and multi-partner tax distributions within a centralized operational framework.
-
Structured GP Capital Account Tracking: Maintains audit-ready partner capital balances across complex GP entities with continuous, automated updates.
-
Audit-Ready GP-Level Statements: Generates detailed financial reports with complete visibility into GP-level economics, helping firms streamline quarterly close procedures and audit preparation.
Leadership Insights on Strategic Alignment
“Private markets have invested heavily in institutionalizing fund accounting, but their own internal economics have remained fragmented,” said Ivan Latanision, Chief Product Officer at Allvue Systems. “GP Accounting changes that. It gives firms structured control over partner allocations, carried interest, and incentive compensation, without forcing fund accountants and GP accountants into the same workflows.”
