Wealth management data infrastructure provider Dispatch has officially launched the Dispatch API, externalizing its wealth operations platform for third-party wealthtech platforms, fintech developers, and technology-forward Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs).
The launch allows external software providers to embed Dispatch’s automated custodial execution mechanics directly into their native product suites. Automated account opening serves as the initial flagship capability offered through the API, enabling platforms to execute complex custodial workflows without forcing financial advisors to leave their primary software interfaces. AI meeting assistant Jump and CRM provider Wealthbox have signed on as early integration partners to deploy Dispatch-powered custodial account creation directly within their applications.
Unlocking Direct Custodial Execution Within Native Advisor Interfaces
Historically, wealth management technology platforms operated in silos, requiring operations teams to manually re-enter client data across disparate software tools and custodian portals to open accounts or process transfers.
The Dispatch API addresses this operational friction by opening up the underlying infrastructure that connects major U.S. custodians including Charles Schwab, Fidelity, and Pershing—with everyday advisory software. The platform operates across five architectural layers: a translation layer, an industry ontology, a firm graph, agentic execution capabilities, and an integrated audit and control pane.

Key operational pillars of the Dispatch API rollout include:
-
Embedded Custodial Execution: Allows third-party fintech platforms to trigger real-time, validation-checked account openings directly from native user interfaces.
-
Elimination of Data Re-entry: Maps pre-existing CRM and meeting data into custodian-compliant form formats, drastically reducing Not-In-Good-Order (NIGO) error rates.
-
Real-Time Lifecycle Tracking: Automatically validates client inputs, verifies custodian requirements, routes documentation through proper channels, and monitors account progress through funding.
-
Proven Enterprise Scale: Opens infrastructure that has already processed tens of billions of dollars in asset transfers across hundreds of thousands of opened accounts for major RIA firms.
Executive and Partner Perspectives on API Integration
“Dispatch has always been focused on making a firm’s data usable and turning that data into action,” said Rob Nance, co-founder and chief executive officer of Dispatch. “We proved that our platform can do this inside some of the largest RIAs in the country, supporting the operational workflows that directly drive revenue for their businesses. The Dispatch API is the next chapter of that story: opening the infrastructure we have already built so other companies can bring execution into their own products without having to recreate it themselves.”
“Advisors should not have to leave the conversation, reenter information across multiple systems and manually initiate the next step for a client,” said Parker Ence, co-founder and chief executive officer of Jump. “By building on the Dispatch API, we’re enabling real-time account opening directly from the advisor workflow, connecting the intelligence captured during a client meeting with the infrastructure needed to execute that next step. This creates a more seamless experience for advisors and their clients, while relying on Dispatch to manage the complexity of custodian validation and execution behind the scenes.”
“Every account opening starts with the client information already living in Wealthbox, the source of truth advisors rely on,” said John Rourke, co-founder and chief executive officer of Wealthbox. “Building on the Dispatch API means that information does not have to be copied into a separate system to get an account opened. Dispatch takes what is already accurate in the CRM and carries it through custodian validation and execution, so the advisor’s next step is confirming, not retyping.”
Expanding the Footprint of Automated Wealth Operations
The release of the Dispatch API represents a major commercial expansion for the company, transforming its proprietary data-orchestration engine into accessible industry middleware.
While account opening marks the first capability accessible through the API framework, Dispatch plans to expose additional operational workflows including advisor transitions, client onboarding, and real-time data synchronization to external developers over time.
