Optro Appoints Tim Daniels as Chief Financial Officer

Optro the leading AI-powered GRC Intelligence Platform, announced the appointment of Tim Daniels as Chief Financial Officer. Daniels joins Optro from Quickbase, where he served as CFO, and brings two decades of experience scaling high-growth enterprise software companies.

Daniels arrives as Optro extends its category leadership in agentic GRC and business momentum continues to build. Over the last twelve months, the company continued its international expansion with a new hub in Singapore, recent acquisitions of AI-native SOX automation solution Midship and AI governance solution FairNow, and the launch of Optro Partner Connect to scale its global ecosystem. Optro was also recognized for its innovative AI-powered products, being named a Leader in both the 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for GRC Tools and the 2026 Forrester Wave™ for GRC Platforms, and as one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies.

As CFO, Daniels will lead Optro’s global finance organization, overseeing finance, accounting, and strategic financial planning as the company scales.

Daniels has spent his career on the operating side of high-growth software. Prior to Quickbase, he was CFO of Momentus Technologies, a Principal at private equity firm Cove Hill Partners, and CFO of OpsGenie through its acquisition by Atlassian. Across those roles he has repeatedly guided companies through triple-digit growth by anchoring on the fundamentals that predict durable value: customer satisfaction and retention.
