Unit21 and Corelation Partner to Bring AI-Powered Fraud Prevention to Credit Unions

Share

Unit21 joins forces with Corelation to embed AI-native fraud prevention and AML monitoring for its core banking system and enable credit unions to identify, investigate, and act on suspicious activity within a single workflow. The integration enables credit unions to link member, account, card, and transaction data from Corelation’s KeyStone system to Unit21 for ongoing monitoring and investigation. Through Corelation’s KeyBridge API, analysts can also block or activate cards, stop payments, and place check holds directly from Unit21 cases without switching systems. A dedicated AML data extract delivers updates approximately every five minutes, giving teams near real-time visibility into member activity.

Unit21’s AI agents and configurable rules support fraud detection, AML transaction monitoring, case management, and regulatory reporting, including Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs). The integration also records analyst actions, system responses, and supporting evidence to strengthen audit trails and compliance documentation.”Fraud moves at the speed of real-time payments, and credit unions can’t fight it with next-day files and a second login. Together with Corelation, we’re giving credit unions a way to catch fraud, stop it in the core, and file on it, all from a single case. That means fewer dollars lost, fewer members harmed, and fraud teams that finally get ahead instead of cleaning up.” Tyler Allen, CEO, Unit21
