Lazard Asset Management (LAM) has expanded its exchange-traded fund lineup with the launch of the Lazard Listed Infrastructure ETF, an actively managed equity strategy designed to give investors access to the firm’s long-standing expertise in infrastructure investing. The new ETF aims to deliver exposure to high-quality, income-generating infrastructure assets through a transparent and efficient format.

“At Lazard, we believe infrastructure is at the epicenter of the modern economy and provides a compelling investment opportunity,” said Rob Forsyth, Global Head of ETFs at Lazard. “The launch of GLIX provides another avenue for clients to access our storied infrastructure capabilities. It’s another example of our commitment to providing more investors tools to help them build stronger, resilient portfolios in the most efficient format available.”

With global infrastructure spending set to accelerate as nations modernize aging systems, GLIX leverages Lazard’s two decades of experience to target assets offering steady, inflation-linked cash flows, balanced risk-reward profiles, and lower volatility compared to the broader equity market. The ETF is built around a select portfolio of 25–50 companies with market capitalizations above $2 billion, chosen through bottom-up, fundamental analysis emphasizing inflation-tied earnings and monopoly-like characteristics.

“Investors increasingly recognize the unique opportunity infrastructure offers in providing steady, inflation-linked returns while diversifying their portfolios,” said Matthew Landy, Portfolio Manager for GLIX. “With its targeted approach to global diversification, GLIX offers a compelling risk-return profile for investors seeking to navigate market volatility while aiming for consistent long-term performance.”

Managed by a team including Bertrand Cliquet, Matthew Landy, John Mulquiney, and Warryn Robertson, GLIX’s strategy also incorporates passive USD hedging to reduce currency risk for U.S. investors. By bridging Lazard’s infrastructure expertise with the efficiency of an ETF, GLIX positions investors to benefit from long-term global infrastructure growth while maintaining a disciplined, risk-aware approach.
