iConnections has unveiled Pipelines, a new productivity and relationship-management feature designed to help limited partners (LPs) and general partners (GPs) convert conversations into meaningful fundraising and investment progress. Integrated directly into the iConnections platform, the tool offers a structured and visual way to manage outreach and maintain momentum—eliminating the need for scattered spreadsheets or traditional CRMs that don’t reflect the nuances of alternative investing.
Developed in response to industry-wide feedback, Pipelines addresses a persistent challenge: after events or outreach rounds, many promising dialogues stall simply because there is no streamlined method to capture next steps. Pipelines closes that gap by giving users a workflow tailored to how capital allocators and fund managers actually operate.
“With Pipelines, users finally have a workflow that matches the way this industry actually operates,” said Douglas Melchior, VP of Product at iConnecctions. “We built it to be fast, flexible, and intuitive so LPs and GPs can turn a list of connections into a clear set of next steps. It is not a CRM clone. It is a relationship engine designed specifically for capital allocators and managers.”

The tool helps users create targeted lists of funds or allocators. They can use filters like strategy, location, investor type, and AUM. Users can set up custom pipelines for events, roadshows, or fundraising cycles. They can also define stages that match their processes. Moving contacts across statuses is easy with drag-and-drop functionality. Notes, historical meetings, documents, follow-up reminders, and direct messaging are all embedded to keep workflows centralized and organized.
“Pipelines gives our clients something they have been asking for: a clean, actionable view of every relationship,” said Rob Tappero, Chief Revenue Officer at iConnections. “This will help LPs and GPs stay organized, stay intentional, and ultimately drive more successful interactions across the entire capital-raising and deployment cycle.”
Now available to all members, Pipelines represents a significant step in iConnections’ mission to build the most connected and efficient network in the alternative investment industry.
