MOIN and Nium Strengthen Partnership to Advance Cross-Border Payment Infrastructure

MOIN has expanded its strategic partnership with Nium, the global infrastructure provider for real-time payments, to enhance Korea’s cross-border remittance and settlement ecosystem. Announced at Korea Fintech Week, the expanded collaboration enables MOIN to extend outbound payout coverage across major markets including the U.S., Japan, Europe, Australia, and Canada, while also opening access to emerging regions throughout Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. The companies, partners since 2018, will also scale inbound KRW settlement capabilities through new use cases, higher transaction volumes, and improved speed for global clients such as digital platforms and marketplaces.

MOIN and Nium are also looking into stablecoin models for cross-border payments. They aim to combine blockchain technology with a global network. This will help deliver faster and cheaper financial transactions. Ilseok Suh, CEO of MOIN, stated, “By further expanding our long-term partnership with Nium, we have established a foundation that enables Korean users and businesses to enjoy world-class remittance and payment experiences.” Nium’s CRO Anupam Pahuja added, “Strengthening our partnership with MOIN allows us to extend the speed, transparency, and cost advantages their customers rely on.”
