Verito has announced a strategic partnership with Filed aimed at helping accounting firms modernize tax preparation and reclaim capacity for higher-value advisory services. The collaboration brings together Filed’s AI-powered tax automation platform with Verito’s top-rated cloud hosting and managed IT infrastructure, creating what the companies describe as “Advisory-Ready Infrastructure.”
Filed, an AICPA/CPA.com Startup Accelerator participant, uses artificial intelligence to automate document intake, data extraction, and return population—reducing tax preparation time by an estimated 40% to 80%. Verito complements this capability with high-performance, enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure designed specifically for tax and accounting firms, ensuring reliability, security, and regulatory compliance.
The partnership addresses a growing capacity crisis in the accounting profession. With a large portion of CPAs approaching retirement and a significant talent shortfall, firms are struggling to meet demand. At the same time, nearly 40% of preparers’ time is consumed by repetitive data entry, limiting their ability to offer advisory services that typically generate two to three times more revenue.

By combining Filed’s Intelligent Tax Workspace with Verito’s always-on infrastructure, firms can log into tax software—such as Drake, UltraTax, Lacerte, ProSeries, and CCH Axcess—to find returns already populated and ready for review. Verito’s platform ensures this automation runs reliably while meeting IRS and FTC requirements, allowing firms to redirect thousands of hours toward client strategy and advisory work.
“The firms we serve don’t just want compliant infrastructure. They want capacity to grow,” said Jatin Narang, CEO of Verito Inc. “Filed eliminates the data entry that traps preparers in low-value work. We make sure that automation runs on infrastructure that never flinches. Together, we’re giving firms something they’ve never had: the time to actually advise their clients.”
Under the agreement, Verito becomes Filed’s preferred hosting and managed IT provider, while Verito clients gain discounted access to Filed’s AI platform. “Great software only works if it’s supported by great infrastructure, and Verito understands the operational realities of accounting firms, and they know how to support modern firms with the right cloud hosting and managed IT Services needed to scale operations.” said Leroy Kerry, CEO of Filed. “We’re excited to partner with them so firms can adopt Filed knowing the technology behind it is secure, dependable, and built to grow with them.”
Together, Verito and Filed aim to help accounting firms move beyond compliance work and build sustainable, advisory-led growth.
