CHC Consulting, the consulting division of Community Hospital Corporation (CHC), has launched Options RCM, a new revenue cycle management solution designed to help community and rural hospitals optimize their financial performance. The new solution has been rolled out at a time when many community hospitals are facing squeezed margins, rising denial rates, and workforce shortages.
Options RCM, a flexible and technology-driven service, has been developed to meet the challenges faced by each hospital individually. The service leverages the strength of advanced analytics, best practices, and experienced revenue cycle professionals to help hospitals optimize their cash flow, decrease denials, and create a more stable financial foundation. The service can be leveraged by hospitals for their requirements or for full revenue cycle outsourcing.
“Revenue cycle management is more than a back-office function. It’s a strategic driver of hospital sustainability,” said David Yackell, Vice President of Hospital Financial Operations for CHC. “Options RCM provides hospitals access to expertise and scalable solutions customized to their needs. Whether they require limited support in one area or a full outsourcing solution, our goal is to help community hospitals improve the work they already do, recover revenue, reduce cost, and preserve local healthcare access.”

The service extends across the entire revenue cycle, from front-end registration and verification to billing, denial, and payment validation. The key functional areas include pre-authorization, coding, clean claim management, payer follow-up, cash posting, denial trend analysis, and reimbursement validation. CHC has partnered with vendors such as Currance and Optum to support these end-to-end services under a unified program.
Options RCM also addresses workforce challenges by giving hospitals immediate access to CHC’s revenue cycle specialists. Real-time analytics and workflow visibility enable hospital leaders to make informed financial decisions while maintaining compliance and operational control.
“CHC Consulting’s mission has always been to strengthen rural and community hospitals,” said Jim Kendrick, President and CEO of Community Hospital Corporation. “Options RCM is another example of how we’re helping hospitals maintain financial stability while staying focused on what matters most: caring for their communities.”
With more than three decades of experience supporting hospitals nationwide, CHC’s latest offering expands its consulting portfolio in a critical operational area, reinforcing its broader mission to preserve and protect access to community-based healthcare.
