Visa has introduced its Enhanced Subscription Manager, a new value-added solution within its Digital Issuer Solutions platform, designed to help financial institutions offer consumers greater control over recurring payments. It’s the result of a joint effort with Pinwheel and lets cardholders see manage switch, and cancel subscription directly within their banking apps. It responds to the increasing demand for transparency as subscription worldwide is forecasted to be 12 billion by 2030.

Besides consolidating subscription data and allowing smooth payment management, the product is also intended to minimize the occurrence of unexpected charges, upgrade user experience, and assist issuers to increase engagement, retention, and reduce disputes. “Consumers today want clarity, control, and convenience when it comes to managing the subscriptions that touch so many parts of their lives,” said Kathleen Pierce-Gilmore. The solution integrates with Visa’s SDK to support over 100 merchants, reflecting a broader shift toward in-app financial management tools that strengthen customer relationships and enhance digital banking experiences.
