Clari + Salesloft, the leader in the Revenue Orchestration category, announced the appointment of Rick Hasselman as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Hasselman will report to CEO Steve Cox and lead the company’s financial strategy, planning, and operations as it enters its next phase following the December 2025 merger.

Hasselman joins at a pivotal moment for Clari + Salesloft as the company has integrated two market-leading platforms into a single business. His focus will be on driving financial and operational rigor across the combined organization as it scales.

“Rick joins us at a defining moment as we’ve brought together two category leaders into a single, unified business,” said Steve Cox, CEO of Clari + Salesloft. “What stood out immediately is his ability to build financial systems that don’t just support growth, but sharpen it. As we scale Clari + Salesloft, that level of precision and accountability becomes a competitive advantage, not just an operational requirement.”

As CFO, Hasselman will lead efforts to align financial planning with company-wide priorities, ensuring resources are deployed where they have the greatest impact. A key near-term focus will be completing the integration of Clari and Salesloft into a unified operating model, further establishing the systems and processes needed to execute consistently at scale.

He will also partner closely with go-to-market leaders, bringing a finance perspective into how the company plans, measures, and improves revenue performance.

Hasselman brings more than 30 years of experience across finance, operations, and corporate development. He began his career at PwC in audit and international tax before becoming a co-founder, and has since held leadership roles at high-growth software companies including Expel, Podium, and Sumo Logic, where he helped guide the business through its IPO. Earlier in his career, he also led merger and acquisition finance teams at Google.

“I’ve spent much of my career in growth-stage software, and one thing is consistent: the companies that win aren’t the ones that grow the fastest. They’re the ones that grow with clarity. Every dollar has a job, and every decision has a reason,” said Hasselman. “What stood out to me about Clari + Salesloft is the opportunity to bring that level of visibility into how the business operates. When you can see what’s happening across the entire revenue process, you can make better decisions, faster. That’s what allows a company to scale in a way that’s both efficient and durable.”
