QuantumStreet AI has launched its new Thematic Rotation Index, a long-only investment strategy designed to provide institutional investors with systematic exposure to high-growth themes shaping U.S. equity markets. The strategy addresses limitations in traditional sector-based investing by identifying emerging themes such as AI infrastructure, digital services, and advanced manufacturing that often cut across multiple sectors. Using AI technology, the platform analyzes company 10-K filings to extract nearly 10,000 granular themes, which are grouped into investable categories and ranked by trading activity. The strategy selects the top five themes monthly and rebalances within the S&P 500 universe.

“Sector ETFs give you a label but not always the optimal exposure. What drove equity returns over the past three years wasn’t AI technology as a whole; it was three or four specific themes inside AI gaining critical mass at the same time. Our system identifies those themes before they reach consensus and rotates out when the signal fades.
