BizzyCar Names Simon Smith Chief Revenue Officer to Lead Go-to-Market Growth

Share

BizzyCar, the AI-powered automotive SaaS company and the #1 leader in recall solutions,  announced that Simon Smith has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer, effective October 2026. Simon will lead BizzyCar’s Go-to-Market organization.

BizzyCar built its position by helping dealerships and OEMs close open recalls through two-way text messaging powered by its proprietary AI agent. The company is now expanding beyond recalls. Service Engine, Mobile Service, and Fleet IQ carry the same outreach into everyday service work, and dealers and OEMs are responding with strong engagement.

That momentum is the reason for this hire. As demand for the platform grows, BizzyCar has added a seasoned revenue leader to put it in front of more of the industry. Simon’s role is to grow the number of dealers and OEMs that put BizzyCar to work.

“Simon has built and led revenue teams in the hundreds, run businesses up to $400M in ARR, delivered 98% logo retention, and pioneered outcome-based pricing. He knows dealers, he knows OEMs, and he knows how to scale,” said Ryan Maher, Chief Executive Officer of BizzyCar.

Simon brings nearly three decades of business experience, from frontline sales to executive leadership. His career includes time at AutoNation, CarsDirect.com, TrueCar, and Internet Brands, and he has worked in venture-backed startups and public companies, including through IPO processes.

Most recently, Simon was at Storable, an AI-powered software platform for self-storage operators. He joined in 2022 as Senior Vice President of Sales and Revenue for Self-Storage, and in 2024 moved to lead the company’s RV and Campground division as Senior Vice President and General Manager.
