Dynasty Financial Partners Accelerates Private Markets Growth Across Network of Independent Advisors

Share

Dynasty Financial Partners has managed to raise over $200 million in private markets funds over the past nine months by giving its independent advisors network access to institution-grade private investment options. The team successfully secured Dynasty Growth Equity & Coinvest I at a raise of $110 million which is a good amount more than the targeted $100 million. The company also managed to invest in NOBULL, a training brand and footwear company partially owned by Mike Repole and Tom Brady, at a $1 billion valuation without difficulty. Dynasty’s private markets strategy targets high-growth private companies, pre-IPO businesses, sports assets, take-private opportunities, and other differentiated investments sourced through its proprietary network.

The firm said growing demand reflects the increasing importance of private markets as companies remain private longer and more value creation shifts away from public markets. Shirl Penney, Founder and CEO of Dynasty Financial Partners, these private market opportunities are “a vital addition to the capabilities we offer our network.” These successful capital raises, he added, are partly attributable to “the scale of the Dynasty Network, which lets us deliver opportunities such as NOBULL that individual firms typically don’t even hear about. We believe independent advisors are hungry for differentiated private-market opportunities typically only available to the world’s largest investors, and as Dynasty continues to more than level the playing field for RIAs that are Powered by Dynasty, we look forward to continuing to selectively bring these unique value-add opportunities to our network of independent RIAs.”
