Recurly Unveils AI-Powered Platform to Redefine Subscription Growth and Retention

Recurly, a top subscription management platform, has launched its Fall Release. This includes Recurly Compass, an advanced AI tool. It helps brands anticipate subscriber needs and act quickly to boost growth throughout the customer lifecycle. This launch signals a major shift toward intelligent automation in the subscription economy. It allows businesses to scale globally with speed and accuracy.

Recurly Compass uses over 15 years of subscription data. It turns traditional analytics into real-time insights. This helps businesses find revenue opportunities, predict churn, and apply growth strategies quickly. The Fall Release adds over 30 new features. These features improve acquisition, retention, and payments. This strengthens Recurly’s role as a next-generation subscription growth engine.

The update introduces AI-driven decisioning through the Compass Assistant, which allows teams to execute growth plays, adjust pricing, and trigger retention workflows using natural language commands. Enhanced retention tools—such as personalized cancellation flows, dynamic discounts, and a new “Build-a-Box” feature—help merchants maximize subscriber lifetime value.

To support global expansion, Recurly has also broadened its payment ecosystem to include 140+ payment methods and gateways like Pix, MercadoPago, SEPA, and Adyen Web Components, simplifying cross-border billing and revenue recovery.
