Redpanda, the real-time data platform for the agentic enterprise, announced that Jennifer Lawrence has been named the company’s new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In her new role, Lawrence oversees all go-to-market strategy, global revenue operations, and customer engagement initiatives to accelerate Redpanda’s continued growth and commercial impact.
“Redpanda is entering a transformative phase of growth,” said Alex Gallego, founder and CEO of Redpanda. “As agentic applications move from concept to enterprise reality, the demand for reliable, high-performance streaming infrastructure has never been greater. Jennifer’s experience driving revenue growth at world-class companies makes her uniquely suited to guide us through this next chapter. Her leadership will help us reach new markets, deepen customer relationships, and extend our category leadership.”
Lawrence brings more than 20 years of revenue leadership experience, having previously served as CRO at Expel, where she grew new customers by over 600%, scaled out both commercial and enterprise teams, and expanded operations globally. Prior to Expel, Jennifer was a Global VP of Sales at Duo Security, which was acquired by Cisco in 2020. At Cisco, she led security sales and continued to expand Duo’s footprint from $7M ARR to over $550M ARR and over 30,000 customers.

“Redpanda sits at the rare intersection of proven product-market fit and an enormous market ripe for transformation,” said Lawrence. “Joining at this pivotal stage presents a unique opportunity to help scale a platform that customers truly love that’s powering the next generation of AI and mission-critical systems. The magic of Redpanda lies in its combination of cutting-edge technology, an extraordinary team of brilliant, driven individuals, and a shared determination to win big. It’s rare to find a company where customer enthusiasm is matched by internal passion, and I look forward to helping lead Redpanda into its next phase of global impact and growth.”
In October, Redpanda announced the acquisition of Oxla, a distributed SQL engine, and introduced the Agentic Data Plane (ADP), a new product line built to help enterprises govern and connect their data for the era of AI agents. These milestones build on a year of strong growth for the company, which also included Redpanda’s $100 million Series D funding and $1 billion valuation in March. With rapid customer adoption and continued product innovation, Redpanda has solidified its position as a leader in real-time data processing and governance.
