SDK.finance Launches Real-Time General Ledger for Banks and Fintechs

Share

SDK.finance has launched a standalone real-time general ledger designed for banks, electronic money institutions, payment service providers and fintech companies managing complex financial products. The SDK.finance General Ledger provides an event-driven, double-entry accounting layer that converts financial product events into balanced and auditable journal entries without requiring organizations to replace their existing transaction platforms. The module can connect with core banking systems, payment platforms, digital wallets and other transaction engines through Kafka or REST APIs, while providing real-time account balances, configurable accounting rules and immutable transaction records.

The company said the solution is intended to address fragmented financial data, delayed visibility and manual reconciliation as financial products expand across payment rails, currencies and customer segments. It supports fiat currencies and digital assets, as well as use cases including payments, digital wallets, remittances, embedded finance and marketplaces. “Financial businesses need to know not only that money moved, but how every event affected every relevant account, immediately and with a complete audit trail,” said Alex Malyshev, CEO of SDK.finance. “We built SDK.finance General Ledger as a standalone accounting layer that can work with the infrastructure a company already has. It helps technical and finance teams work from the same financial truth while retaining control over their architecture, data and future development.”
