Alibaba.com and Wix Partner to Help SMEs Scale Global Sourcing and Sales

Alibaba.com, one of the world’s leading B2B e-commerce marketplaces, and Wix.com Ltd., the global SaaS website building leader, have announced a strategic partnership designed to empower millions of entrepreneurs and small businesses to expand internationally with greater ease.

This new collaboration aims to connect Wix’s extensive base of merchants with Alibaba.com’s vast global wholesale network, creating an integrated path for businesses to source products efficiently and drive sales across more than 200 countries and regions. For Alibaba.com’s sellers, the partnership provides a straightforward way to build direct-to-consumer (D2C) and B2B online stores with Wix’s advanced commerce and AI-powered tools.

It opens powerful new opportunities for our users to tap into international wholesale markets, while also giving Alibaba.com merchants the ability to create stronger, more direct connections with their customers.”

The partnership will initially roll out three core features:

1. Integrated Seller App:
Wix merchants can now become Global Gold Suppliers on Alibaba.com through a simple download of the Alibaba.com Seller App in the Wix Marketplace. This integration automatically syncs products and orders, helping businesses quickly reach millions of verified global buyers.

2. Smarter Sourcing for Wix Merchants:
Wix users gain direct access to Alibaba.com’s extensive wholesale marketplace to source high-quality products, test new ideas, and build private-label offerings with greater flexibility and lower risk.

3. D2C and B2B Storefronts for Alibaba.com Sellers:
Alibaba.com sellers can establish branded online stores using Wix’s comprehensive suite of AI, design, marketing, and eCommerce features – with Single Sign-On (SSO) making setup simple and secure.

Looking ahead, the companies plan to roll out additional tools, including AI-driven product discovery, automated onboarding, and advanced product-matching capabilities to further streamline cross-border commerce.

Together, Alibaba.com and Wix aim to remove barriers for small businesses, enabling them to source smarter, sell further, and compete more effectively in the global marketplace.
