Abstract, the pioneer of composable security operations, named Jonathan Eller as its first Chief Revenue Officer. Eller will own global sales, channel, customer success, and revenue operations, reporting to co-founder and CEO Colby DeRodeff.
The appointment follows Abstract’s $25 million round in July, which brought total funding to nearly $50 million at triple its prior valuation. In that announcement, Abstract reported 380% annual recurring revenue growth, 264% net revenue retention, and a tripled customer base.
Eller joins as enterprises move beyond monolithic SIEM platforms toward composable architectures that provide greater control over data, AI, and cost. Abstract’s streaming-first platform enables organizations to modernize security operations without being locked into a single vendor ecosystem.

Eller joins Abstract from Concentric AI, where he led global sales. He has more than two decades of enterprise security sales leadership, including roles at CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, and AccessData.
