Equinix Names Shane Paladin as Chief Customer and Revenue Officer

Equinix, Inc., the world’s leading digital infrastructure company, has appointed Shane Paladin as Executive Vice President and Chief Customer and Revenue Officer (CCRO), effective immediately. A seasoned global leader with more than two decades of experience in scaling revenue operations and customer-centric teams, Paladin steps into the role as Equinix continues to expand its data center footprint and digital ecosystems to power innovation worldwide.

“Shane has an exceptional track record in leadership roles across numerous sales and service organizations, as well as in serving at the chief-executive level,” said Adaire Fox-Martin, Chief Executive Officer and President of Equinix. “He is uniquely qualified to build upon the trusted relationships our customers expect, ensuring they have a frictionless experience that delivers ongoing value with the right level of support when and where they need it.”

As CCRO, Paladin will lead Equinix’s global go-to-market strategy and the entire customer experience, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Care and Experience, and Revenue Operations. His responsibilities also span key account management, strategic channel partnerships, and maximizing data, analytics, and AI to optimize revenue-driving activities. He will report directly to Fox-Martin and join the company’s Global Executive Leadership Team.

Paladin brings an extensive background in guiding large-scale organizations through growth and transformation. He spent more than a decade at SAP across various international leadership roles, including President of Services, EVP Sales and Services, and regional leadership positions in Greater China, Hong Kong, and Macau. In his most recent post at SAP, he led global services strategy and execution, streamlining operations and driving customer success.

Prior to Equinix, Paladin was CEO of Siteimprove, a multinational SaaS firm specializing in digital optimization tools, and held leadership positions at SignalFx, Ayasdi, and FocusFrame. He also serves on several advisory boards and is a U.S. Army veteran. Paladin holds a master’s degree in Strategy and Innovation from the University of Oxford.
