AEGIS Hedging Solutions has entered into a definitive agreement with Private Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, which will become the company’s new institutional investment partner, succeeding Greenbelt Capital Partners and Baird Capital. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Founded in 2013, AEGIS serves more than 700 commodity producers, consumers, financial counterparties, and capital providers across North America with commodity market intelligence, technology, and risk management solutions. The investment will support AEGIS’s expansion in commodity advisory services, artificial intelligence, proprietary data, regulated market infrastructure, and technology.

The company will continue operating under its existing leadership team, with Bryan Sansbury remaining CEO. “Our customers operate in markets where every decision matters,” said Bryan Sansbury, Chief Executive Officer of AEGIS. “Our job is to give them the expertise, information, and capabilities to act with confidence. Thanks to that investment, our work can advance our mission without us changing the way we’ve always been, a loyal service that our customers haven’t lost trust in for the past decade.” Subject to regular closing requirements, the deal is anticipated to be finalized in the third quarter of 2026.
